Weaving and Leatherette Earrings – Rainbow Serpent Dreamtime

These woven and leatherette earrings are hand weaved. Each pair of earrings are made by hand and are one-of-a-kind by Kamilaroi Kooma woman Natasha Rossington. The leatherette was designed by artist Nikki of Blakbird Designs, the artwork titled Rainbow Serpent Dreamtime that represents the Dreamtime story of the rainbow serpent and how her body would travel great distances to finally come to her resting place.

The rainbow serpent is also known as the olive python and if you ever get to look at or hold one in person you can see the scales are iridescent. Super special this one as this is my daughter's totem.
